A woman has died and a teenager is fighting for life following a two-vehicle crash in the Mary Valley.
Police say a Toyota Landcruiser and Toyota Corolla collided head-on, on Kandanga Imbil Road near Imbil, around 4pm on Wednesday.
The driver of the small car, a 56-year-old Brooloo woman, died at the scene.
Her 17-year-old male passenger suffered critical head and chest injuries.
He was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The Landcruiser driver, a 41-year-old Laidley Heights woman, was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
