Police are investigating a serious traffic crash in Federal west of Noosa.
Three men were critically injured when two vehicles collided on the Old Bruce Highway, approximately 400m from Sankeys Road, around six o’clock yesterday morning.
Initial investigations indicate a Toyota Hilux, travelling south on the Old Bruce Highway, collided head on with a Skoda Karoq, travelling north.
Police are investigating reports of a kangaroo on the road.
The driver and only occupant of the Toyota Hilux, a 23-year-old Cooran man, was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The driver of the Skoda Karoq, a 21-year-old Virginia man, was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital by a rescue chopper.
The only passenger of the Skoda Karoq, a 20-year-old Clayfield man, was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
All are reported to be in a stable condition.
Investigators are appealing to anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to contact police.
