It’s believed the woman, aged in her forties, had been packing camp gear away on top of a vehicle when she fell.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic, worked alongside local QAS paramedics to treat the woman for a possible spinal injury.

After being stabilised, the woman was driven to the waiting rescue chopper in a QAS four-wheel-drive.

The patient was then airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
