A hiker has been winched to safety after falling down a steep rock-face near Eumundi.
She’d been climbing Mt Eerwah with a group of hikers around lunchtime yesterday, when she fell three metres.
Emergency personnel from QAS and QFES attended the scene, while the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was also called in, due to the terrain where the hiker had fallen.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was treated for a suspected broken leg before being secured into a harness and winched up into the helicopter.
The hiker was then flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
