Police are investigating after vandals damaged the athletics track at the University of the Sunshine Coast on the weekend.
Uni-SC’s athletics club says five wheelie bins were set alight on the track early on Sunday morning causing a section to melt.
The club says it’s saddened and disappointed by the senseless act of vandalism and the impact it has on its athletes and wider sporting community.
