A 39-year-old officer has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service.
The Senior Constable has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and deprivation of liberty.
It is related to an alleged incident that occurred while he was off-duty.

He’s due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrate’s Court on May 16.
