A pedestrian has been struck and killed on the Bruce Highway, north of Gympie.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident on Friday night.
Initial investigations indicate a man was walking along the major road at Glenwood around 10:30pm, when he was struck by a truck.

The 25-year-old Bargara man was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 40-year-old Leichhardt man, was not physically injured and is assisting police.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have been travelling in the area at the time and have dashcam footage, to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
