A man has been flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after the quad bike he was riding rolled off an embankment in Tuan Forest north of Gympie.
The man in his 70s was sitting on his quad bike when the sand bank gave way…it rolled and almost went into a creek.
Despite poor phone reception he phoned triple zero….he has head lacerations and chest injuries and was flown to hospital in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, two people were taken to Gympie Hospital with minor injuries after a bus rollover on K’gari yesterday afternoon.
