An international student has died at a popular waterfall in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Police were called to Gardners Falls in Maleny at 3.30pm on Monday, after a swimmer was reported missing.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, reportedly failed to resurface after using a rope swing.

A major search was launched with the rescue chopper called to the scene to assist, before the man’s body was later discovered.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson says police are now preparing a report for the coroner.
