A Beerwah man has faced court over an incident at Brisbane airport in February.
It’s alleged the 33 year-old man rammed a gate at the international terminal to gain access to the airport’s airside precinct.
Federal Police said he got out of his vehicle and ran around the restricted area before ramming another gate and leaving.
He was arrested and charged a week later in Beerwah and is due in court on Monday.
He’s charged with two offences which have a maximum penalty of a fine of more than 15-thousand dollars and a maximum seven years in jail.
Meanwhile, Sunshine Coast police are appealing for the victims of two incidents in Mooloolaba to contact them.
Around 3.30am yesterday, police were called to Venning Street about reports of three men assaulting another man.
Soon after it’s alleged the men were spotted in a grey Audi which hit an e-bike ridden by a different man on Burnett Street.
Police said they allegedly stole the e-bike and left the scene.
The car was later found on Kingsford Smith Parade in Maroochydore.
Two men are assisting police with their investigation.
