Police are hoping to track down a “distinctive” ute following thefts from several Sunshine Coast businesses.
The vehicle was allegedly used during a number of attempted burglaries within industrial estates on Progress Road in Maroochydore and Kelly Court, Wises Road and Glen Kyle Drive in Buderim, between April 20 and April 26.
Police say hundreds of litres of petrol was siphoned from vehicles.
The Rodeo, missing its bumper and with other front end damage and bearing false Queensland registration plates, was driven from these locations with several drums of fuel atop a stolen trailer.
Two trailers and the fuel were later located by police at Yandina, where a bobcat with a distinctive ‘posi-track’ wheel mechanism was stolen, along with another trailer.
Investigators have now released the below CCTV footage showing the vehicle, and a man wanted for questioning.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
