Parks and wildlife rangers have found no evidence of a crocodile in the Noosa River despite an extensive search.
There were a couple of reports last weekend of a large croc at Noosa Spit.
On Tuesday night, rangers searched 19km of the river from its mouth to Lake Cooroibah and Weyba Road in the south.
The next day rangers again searched 15km of the river without finding any sign of the croc.
The department will continue to monitor further reports of croc sightings.
People are encouraged to assist by providing any further information.
