An 18 year-old Warana man has been fined over a dangerous driving incident on the Sunshine Coast.
A police officer was doing speed checks in a school zone on Nicklin Way at Bokarina around 3pm yesterday.
He directed the driver of a BMW to pull over but the driver allegedly drove dangerously towards the officer and then took off.

The officer threw what appears to be his speed camera at the car.
The Warana man has been issued with three Traffic Infringement Notices, including speeding, careless driving and failing to stop.
Police haven’t said if the officer will be investigated for his actions.
