A man and a woman remain on the run after allegedly stealing a car at gunpoint at Burpengary.
The pair allegedly assaulted three people at a service station on the Bruce Highway at Burpengary yesterday morning and stole a Mitsuibishi Outlander.
Around 11.15am they crashed it at a property on Old Caloundra Road at Glenview and fled into bushland.

An emergency situation was declared and a large area was locked down but an extensive search by specialist police failed to find the pair.
They found a firearm abandoned in the bush and are appealing for the man and woman to contact police.
