Eight crews are currently working to ensure a grass fire at Belli Park, west of Eumundi, doesn’t flare up again in today’s windy conditions.
Fallen power lines started the fire at Boyle Road at five o’clock yesterday afternoon.
It burnt along a ridge on a two kilometre front in inaccessible land.

It was brought under control but flared up overnight.
It’s currently contained and burning slowly uphill.
