A car’s gone up in flames after a crash south of Gympie in the early hours of this morning.
It’s believed the driver swerved to avoid hitting a kangaroo on Mary Valley Road at Kandanga around 1.20am, before crashing into a ditch.
The vehicle then caught alight.

Paramedics treated two people at the scene for minor injuries, but a QAS spokesperson say they both declined transport to hospital.
