Meanwhile, Lifeflight was kept busy on Saturday, called out to back-to-back motorbike crashes.

A woman in her 50s was rescued after crashing her bike near Conondale…she had serious lower leg injuries.

A few hours later Lifeflight was called to the Glass House Mountains after a motorbike collided with a car.

The chopper landed on a school oval and a man in his 20s was treated for chest and abdominal injuries before being flown to the Sunshine Coast Uni Hospital in a serious condition.
