90 year-old woman missing from Noosa

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate a 90-year-old woman missing from Noosa since yesterday afternoon.

Sonia McDonald was last seen leaving a hospital on Goodchap Street at approximately 5pm.

She left in a Blue Holden Astra, Queensland registration 216 XBP, in an unknown direction.

Police and family have serious concerns for Sonia’s welfare due to her elderly age and she has a medical condition which causes confusion.

She was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved top, dark navy knee-length shorts, black and light coloured two-strap sandals, and carrying a black handbag.

Police are appealing to nearby residents to check their properties.

Anyone with information about Sonia’s whereabouts should immediately contact police.
