Police are appealing for information after a fire extinguisher was discharged at a vehicle at Sippy Downs on Sunday.
Around 7.50pm, a Silver Suzuki Vitara was driving along High Street, near Sippy Downs Drive, when two unknown offenders approached the vehicle on an e-bike.
They rode up beside the Suzuki and discharged a fire extinguisher into the vehicle before fleeing.
The occupants of the vehicle, the 29-year-old male driver and 5-month-old child sustained minor injuries.
The baby had to be taken to hospital to have her eyes washed with a saline solution.
The fire extinguisher, believed to be the one used in the incident, was located nearby on Stringybark Road, Sippy Downs.
Investigators are appealing to residents and business in the area between 7.30pm and 8.20pm who may have relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision to contact police.
The ABC is reporting it follows a similar nearby attack on Saturday night.
