The on-again, off-again coaching swap is gathering momentum once more with speculation Wayne Bennett will reveal his future to Brisbane players on Friday morning.

Bennett is believed to have called in all Broncos players for a 12 noon AEDT meeting with speculation rife the long-time Brisbane mentor will officially confirm a 2019 swap with South Sydney's Anthony Seibold.

Seibold is believed to already be in Brisbane and is expected to hold a press conference at Red Hill at 1600 AEDT.

The long-running saga appears over after both clubs thrashed out financial details for the swap.

Bennett hinted at a looming decision at Broncos training on Friday morning.

"I have got a decision to make and the club has got a decision to make - we will sort it out," Bennett told reporters.

Bennett is expected to report for duty at Redfern on Monday with Seibold holding the reins at Red Hill.

The swap had been mooted for months after Bennett confirmed he would coach at South Sydney on a two-year deal from 2020 - the same year Seibold had agreed to mentor Brisbane on a four-season contract.

No players will reportedly follow Bennett to South Sydney with News Corp claiming off contract stars Tevita Pangai, Corey Oates and Matt Lodge had agreed to a new Broncos deal, expected to be announced next week.
