Palmer Watch: Clive ordered back to court today

Clive Palmer is due in court in Brisbane today, having being warned to "move heaven and earth" to appear after he failed to show up for a hearing with Queensland Nickel's liquidators.

Despite Mr Palmer being ordered to face the Federal Court in Brisbane last week and hand over key financial papers to FTI Consulting, he instead flew to Perth for a separate court hearing relating to his flagship company, Mineralogy.

Justice John Reeves said he had not shown reasonable cause for his failure to appear and ordered he appear today.
