Dodgy plates land crook in court

A man allegedly found with photocopied number plates in Caloundra last month, will front the Maroochydore Magistrate again this morning.
 
Ryan Jeffery, from the Gold Coast, was behind the wheel of the stolen ute last month when police caught up with him.
 
The court previously hearing 36-year-old Jeffery had committed the offence while on bail.
 
Officers also allegedly found a small amount of ice and stolen property at the unit where he was staying.
 
Jeffery has remained behind bars since his arrest.
