All Blacks set up camp on Sunshine Coast
The All Blacks have set up camp on the Sunshine Coast.
The New Zealand side is training here, ahead of its upcoming tour to the Northern Hemisphere, which starts with the 1874 Cup match against the United States in Washington, DC on October 23.
Local Rugby fans can see the Kiwi squad in action at an open training session and Q&A with players and coaches at Sunshine Coast Stadium tomorrow, October 12.
It will run from 9am-11am.
Sunshine Coast councillor Jason O’Pray says hosting the Rugby Championship winners is a terrific show of confidence in our region’s capacity to host premiere sporting training camps and events.
“Our region is well known for hosting major events.
“Showcasing top sporting talent allows our aspiring rugby union players to see their heroes in action and celebrate their success which in turn encourages an active and connected community," Cr O'Pray says.
