Woman airlifted with arm injuries after ATV rollover
A passenger has been injured in an ATV rollover at a private property, south of Gympie.
It's believed the driver lost control of the all terrain vehicle while making a low-speed turn at the Kandanga Creek property, around 10am on Sunday.
The ATV flipped, leaving the woman in the front passenger seat with a significant arm injury.
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called in a short time later.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics, Queensland Fire and Emergency Service firefighters and Queensland Police Service officers were on the scene when the aeromedical team arrived.
The patient was treated at the scene before being loaded into the chopper.
She was then airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
