Infant taken to hospital following highway car fire
A woman and baby have been taken to hospital, following a car fire on the Bruce Highway.
An electrical fire reportedly broke out in the vehicle at Glanmire shortly before 6pm.
One fire crew attended around 5.50pm, helping make the scene safe, before leaving the vehicle in the hands of its owners.
The crew left around 6.10pm.
Paramedics transported two patients, a female adult and an infant, to Gympie Hospital as a precaution for smoke inhalation.
