Teen fights for life after crashing into tree, east of Gympie
A teenage boy is one of two patients flighting for life in hospital, following a crash east of Gympie.
The car he was in crashed into a tree on Vines Road at Wolvi around 8pm, trapping two males inside.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper was sent to the scene, with paramedics treating one teenage boy for multiple injuries .
He has since been airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition but stable condition.
A second male patient was also transported to Brisbane with critical head injuries, while a third, female patient suffered a knee injury and neck pain in the crash.
She was taken by road to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
