Australia Zoo's thank you to first responders
A treat for first responders and wildlife lovers.
Australia Zoo is offering free entry for a bunch of professions on February 26, as a thank you for their dedication and hard work in recent months.
“We are grateful for our incredibly dedicated and hardworking first responders, doctors and nurses, who helped us in overcoming so many unexpected challenges, especially during the unprecedented year of 2020,” Australia Zoo matriarch Terri Irwin says.
“We would like to thank these brave men and women for everything that they do,” she says.
All Australian, international, paid and volunteer first responders, doctors and nurses will be eligible for free entry upon showing a valid form of ID at the gates of Australia Zoo.
Those eligible for the offer include fire marshals, firefighters, fire communications officers, emergency medical technicians (EMT), emergency medical dispatchers, ambulance paramedics, workplace first aid dispatchers, law enforcement officers, military police, doctors and nurses.
