Investigations continue after car crashes into Moffat Beach diners

Police are calling for witnesses or anyone with footage of a crash at Caloundra to come forward.

A 44-year-old man was allegedly driving along Seaview Terrace around 4.50pm on Wednesday, when he lost control and flipped, crashing into a restaurant.

Two diners were injured.

A man in his 50s with leg injured and a woman in her forties with minor injuries were both transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver and two passengers, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, were not physically injured in the crash.

The Forensic Crash Unit has seized the vehicle and commenced an investigation.
