Following the Peregian fires and the damage and loss of life affecting our fauna, we could really do with a good news story.
Well Australia Zoo has welcomed twin Lemurs to its fold.
They posted on their Facebook page, "our family keeps growing".
"Welcome our two beautiful ring-tailed lemur twins to the #AustraliaZoo family💛
"These adorable sweethearts will be amazing ambassadors, helping to protect endangered lemurs in the wild" the post concluded.
They are the first to be born at the Beerwah zoo.
The pair was welcomed into the world on August 24 to proud mum Spindles and dad Rahona.
