Welcome to Australia’s biggest regional short film festival, Gympie’s very own Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival.

This October, join us for four immersive days of brilliant short films, live music, talks, workshops, panels, parties and more.

The 2025 Program is filled to the brim with over 25 sessions of short films, comedy, music, talks and more.

And we kick things off with a FREE community event on Thursday 9 October – GO GOLD BLOCK PARTY – at Gympie Regional Gallery.
