Two people have been flown to Brisbane hospitals after their quad bike crashed down an embankment at Woolooga west of Gympie.
Their quad bike went two metres down the embankment into a creek bed on the private property around 5.30pm yesterday.
Paramedics treated them on scene and then took them to a nearby location for retrieval by rescue helicopters.
A woman in her 60s has head, spine and abdominal injuries was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
A man in his 50s is also in a serious condition with head and chest injuries. He was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Meanwhile, a man in his 40s is in a stable condition with a head injury after he crashed his e-scooter on Nicklin Way at Warana at 5.35am today.
And a man in his 40s suffered chest, leg and foot injuries and was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after he crashed his motorbike on Lake Cooroibah Road at 12.10 this morning.
