Gympie received 57mm and Tin Can Bay 60mm.

We could see more thunderstorm activity across the region this morning and afternoon, however any action is expected to be less severe than yesterday’s storms.

Meanwhile, a Hazardous Surf Warning remains in place for waters off the Fraser Island Coast, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
