Gympie’s Kaden Groves has won consecutive stages of cycling’s Tour of Spain.
Groves won today’s stage 5 by half a bike length despite two of his team mates crashing three kilometres from the finish.
The 24 year-old is the first Australian to win a stage of the tour while wearing the green jersey for the best sprinter.

He now has a lead of 60 points in the race for the green jersey after winning stage 4 in a sprint finish on Wednesday.
