Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage cyclist was hit by a vehicle which failed to stop in Buderim.
A 13-year-old boy was riding his bike on Sugar Road just after 6pm yesterday when he was struck by what’s believed to be a dark coloured dual cab ute with a silver sport bar at the roundabout on Wises Road.
The boy sustained leg injuries and was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Investigators are appealing to the driver or anyone with further information or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact police.
