The search continues for a second man, following an alleged attempted armed robbery in a pokie lounge at Alexandra Headlands.
Detectives from Maroochydore Criminal Investigation Branch have released CCTV footage, in an appeal for information in relation to the incident on November 24.
Police say two men allegedly approached a 50-year-old man at a licensed premises on Alexandra Parade around 11.30pm, and demanded his wallet.
One of the men can be seen in the footage concealing his face and producing a knife, before the 50-year-old man pushed him, causing him to fall.
Both men then ran off.
The 50-year-old man was not physically injured.
Investigations led police to locate a 20-year-old man at Warana on November 30, where he was taken into custody.
He has been charged with attempted armed robbery and appeared before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on December 1, where he was remanded in custody.
The matter will next be heard on February 3, 2023.
Detectives have now released CCTV of a second man who may be able to assist in further investigations.
