The Community Information Resource Service (CIRS) is celebrating our 25th Anniversary of operations this year. To honour the changing history of the town and look ahead to the next generation, we are creating a Community Time Capsule. This capsule will be sealed during our anniversary event on Sunday the 7th of December and buried on site, set to be opened in the year 2050. The event begins at 2pm and will feature local residents’ short speeches, historical photos, light refreshments and snacks, live music and kids activities. Official proceedings will come to a close at 4pm, with lightly catered food and drinks available through to 7pm.
