On the 30th May 2026, the Cedar Pocket & Greens Creek Rural Fire Brigade are marking their 60th Anniversary with an Open Day at the Cedar Pocket Hall. Activities will include a static display of their fire fighting vehicles along with an urban fire fighting vehicle, also face painting, petting zoo, BBQ, coffee van and an information booth on fire prevention.
