Reporter Escapes Bridge Collapse in Flood Waters
An American reporter managed to keep relatively calm considering a bridge she was reporting from collapsed while she was live on air.
Fox 46's reporter Amber Roberts was broadcasting a story about the flooding in North Carolina when a section of the bridge she was standing on gave way and fell into the rapidly moving waters below.
There were other people on the bridge at the time and it seems cars parked at either end but thankfully no one was harmed.
The footage shows just how quickly the section of road on the bridge disintegrated and fell, so fast the camera operator barely had enough time to turn to get the shot.
It's a really strong warning for even us in Australia to keep clear of dangerous areas during storms and flooding. As they say, "if it's Flooded Forget it".
