In a modern-day take on the iconic Willy Wonka story, one may David Kelin, who helped invent Jelly Belly jelly beans has started the competition which will see one winner score keys to a candy factory!

According to news.com.au 'The Gold Ticket' will play off Roald Dahl's beloved children's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and "will see people searching for Gold Ticket necklaces hidden at a number of locations throughout America’s states."

Klein, took to YouTube on August 29 to make the announcement and introduce his 'The Gold Ticket' competition which he is labelling the "ultimate treasure hunt".

"The winner will be receiving a key for one of our candy factories," Klein said.

There are rules though, according to The Gold Ticket website, which includes - a $49.98 cost to play and you must have a Facebook Account because the day and time of your treasure hunt and the riddle will be shared in your group.

"You will be looking for a Gold Ticket in the form of a necklace with a tag that includes a code you need to use to verify your find," the website goes on to say.
