In 1980, the Gradys launched their first business, specialising in real estate and machinery auctions. They also conducted livestock auctions throughout the Gympie district for many years.

Then, in 1986, Tom and Lyn expanded into rural merchandise. Today, they operate two leading rural supply stores in Gympie and support a population of approximately 30,000 people across the region.

Their customers work in a wide range of industries, including dairying, beef production, small crops, timber, tree crops, sugar cane, and pineapple farming. As a result, the stores stock an extensive range of rural products. These include stock feed, fertiliser, seed, fencing materials, agricultural chemicals, workwear, and safety footwear.

In addition, Tom and Lyn are the local CRT agents in Gympie and employ a team of 15 rural merchandise professionals. Their experienced staff provide practical advice and quality service to local farmers and rural businesses.

Over the past 35 years, Tom and Lyn have successfully conducted more than 1,100 clearing sales, covering machinery and a wide range of farm equipment.
