Police will prepare a report for the Coroner on the death of an 18-year-old Brisbane woman who died climbing Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains on the weekend.
The woman died at the scene and her 18 year-old male climbing companion, also from Brisbane, was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries after they fell between 50 and 100 metres yesterday morning.
The mountain was closed from March 9 due to wet weather and had been due to reopen today.
