The parents of a Sunshine Coast woman have flown to Japan following the death of their 22 year-old daughter.
Brooke Day died after her backpack got caught in a ski lift at a resort in Nagano prefecture.
She was reportedly dragged along the snow and left dangling in the air.

She was rushed to hospital but died from a cardiac arrest.
Her family is receiving consular assistance.
