A 15-year-old boy has been charged over a fatal e-bike crash in Mountain Creek on the Sunshine Coast late last month.
8 year-old Zeke Hondow was riding his e-bike under supervision of a family member on a pathway on October 30 when he was allegedly hit by the teenager who was also on an e-bike.
Both bikes were illegal according to police.

The teen is charged with one count each of dangerous operation of vehicle causing death, unlicensed driving and unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
It’s understood the teen will face court under the Adult Crime, Adult Time laws and faces a maximum 14 year jail sentence.
He is due to appear in Maroochydore Children’s Court on November 26.
