Reports suggest that Hollywood star Nicole Kidman and country music icon Keith Urban have separated.
The power couple has reportedly been living apart since early summer, according to a Monday afternoon (September 29) report from TMZ, which cited “multiple sources with direct knowledge.” These sources further claimed that Kidman is “holding the family together through this difficult time” while Urban has “acquired his own residence in Nashville” and moved out of their shared family home.
Further corroborating the claims, an unnamed source told PEOPLE that “Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock, and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another.” This source added that Kidman “didn’t want this” and “has been fighting to save the marriage.”
Urban, 57, and Kidman, 58, first met at a Los Angeles gala in 2005. They tied the knot the following year, on June 25, 2006, in Sydney, Australia. Together, they share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
As of the time of publication, neither Urban nor Kidman has publicly addressed these reports of their separation.
