UniSC Gympie will be hosting a free networking event on Wednesday, 1 October from 10am-12pm.

This event will include a live-streamed seminar titled “Everyone matters: Protecting older adults from harm” presented by the Healthy Ageing Research Cluster in acknowledgement of the United Nations International Day of Older Persons.

During this seminar attendees will hear from UniSC PhD candidates Jessica Lockitch and Madeline Lee, who will be presenting their research on the proactive prevention of sexual violence and abuse against older adults.
